Police in Aurora, Colorado, say they have detained 14 people following an armed home invasion at a local apartment complex.
Just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to The Edge at Lowry Apartments in the 1200 block of Dallas Street for “a report of an armed home invasion involving a stabbing and kidnapping,” a press release from the Aurora Police said.
According to the police, a preliminary investigation showed that several suspects entered an apartment where two people were inside. Police say the suspects took the victims to another apartment at the same location, where the victims were “threatened and bound.”
One of the victims, a man, sustained a stab wound but is expected to survive, police said.
