Amazon has introduced Rufus, a generative AI-powered shopping assistant, in beta for Indian users on the Amazon.in mobile app.
Rufus provides product recommendations, answers shopping queries, and helps with product discovery using Amazon’s catalogue and web information.
The rollout will expand to more customers in India over the coming weeks.
Launched in beta to a subset of customers on the Amazon.in mobile app, Rufus will progressively roll out in India in the coming weeks, the company said on its website.
