China exported $39.52 billion worth of fabric in the first seven months of 2024, with Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, and India accounting for 40 per cent of these exports.
Vietnam was the largest market, with a 16.52 per cent share.
Fabric exports grew by 2.74 per cent compared to 2023.
India rose to the fifth-largest market, while total exports in 2023 were lower than in 2022.
