Cotton yarn prices showed a mixed trend in south India, trading lower in Mumbai but higher in Tiruppur.
Sluggish fabric demand led to a decrease in Mumbai’s prices by ₹3-4 per kg.
In contrast, Tiruppur saw an increase of ₹4-5 per kg after mills raised their rate by ₹10 per kg, though the market did not fully accept the increase due to poor demand.
