As of November 30, Pakistan’s cotton arrivals totalled 5.190 million bales, marking a 33.05 per cent decline from the previous season.
The slow start, initially 59 per cent lower than last year, was partly recovered by improved later arrivals.
This season’s challenges included damage from high temperatures and heavy rains, which caused diseases like whitefly and pink bollworm.
