Thai Acrylic Fibre Co Ltd (TAF), one of the world’s largest acrylic fibre producers, has announced its participation in the upcoming  Istanbul International Yarn Fair that will be held from June 1-3 (Hall #3, Stand 320B) at Tüyap Istanbul Fair and Congress Center. TAF is set to showcase its latest product offerings and cutting-edge innovations at the fair.

Thai Acrylic Fibre, part of Aditya Birla Group, is committed to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions to the textile industry. At the Istanbul Yarn Fair, the company will be showcasing three of its flagship products: Regel, Radianza and Pilbloc.

Regel is made from recycled acrylic fibre with 75 per cent recycled content. It is made with Regel technology which offers the same exceptional quality and performance as virgin acrylic fibre while significantly reducing the carbon footprint.

Radianza—ready-to-use gel dyed acrylic fibre—is one of the most eco-friendly and sustainable fibres made with Gel-dyeing technology which helps reduce the consumption of natural resources and create much less pollution.

Pilbloc is designed to address one of the common challenges in the textile industry–pilling. It is made with an engineering process, which is formulated to resist pilling overtime, resulting in decelerating the ageing process of the apparel. It is also similar in comfort to natural fibres with a unique hand-feel. It can also easily be blended with other fibres and have the pill performance enhanced.

“We are delighted to be a part of Istanbul Yarn Fair, a prestigious event that attracts industry professionals from all over the world,” says Tuhin Kulshreshtha, head of marketing, TAF. “Through our participation, we aim to showcase our commitment to sustainability and innovation as demonstrated by our products. Our team will be available to connect with customers to answer questions, explore potential collaborations and provide solutions that align with environmental and performance standards.”
