In June 2023, the US saw a 16.7 per cent decline in textiles and clothing imports, amounting to 8,426.9 MSME.
Apparel imports fell by over 25 per cent, reflecting economic uncertainty and reduced consumer spending.
The year-to-date figures showed a 21.4 per cent decrease, with textiles down 18.0 per cent and apparel down 29.7 per cent from the previous year.
