US textile and apparel exports dropped by 2.98 per cent year over year to $13.42 billion in the first seven months of 2024.
Exports to Mexico increased, while those to Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, China, and other markets saw declines.
By category, apparel, fabric, and yarn exports fell.
In 2023, exports decreased by 5.02 per cent to $23.62 billion.
