BGIS 2026 Semi Finals Day 1 is finally here, as from today, March 12, 2026, the top 24 teams in the country will compete for a place in the highly coveted Grand Finals that are going to be held in Chennai. The journey for thousands of teams that started way back in January has finally reached its penultimate stage, where one mistake can cost them the prestigious BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Stage.

BGIS 2026 Semi Finals Day 1 Teams and Group Overview

The 24 qualifying teams are divided into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C. Each group has a mix of experienced teams and underdogs.

  • Group A: Wild Fangs, Troy Tamilan Esports, Madkings, HeroXtreme Godlike, EVOX Esports, NEBULA ESPORTS, IQOO Reckoning Esports, and MYTH Official.
  • Group B: Learn From Past, 4Wolf x DOD, Sinewy Esports, IQOO Orangutan, META Ninza, Genesis Esports, K9 Esports, and Phoenix Esports.
  • Group C: Vasista Esports, WELT Esports, IQOO SOUL, IQOO Revenant XSPARK, IQOO Team Tamilas, NONX Esports, The Vanguard, and Victores Sumus.

BGIS 2026 Semi Finals Day 1 Schedule

On Day 1, there will be a total of six matches. The rotation will be in the format of “Round Robin,” where teams will be facing each other from different groups. This is the map for Day 1, which will take place on Thursday, March 12:

  • Match 1: Erangel (Group AB)
  • Match 2: Miramar (Group AB)
  • Match 3: Rondo (Group AB)
  • Match 4: Rondo (Group BC)
  • Match 5: Miramar (Group BC)
  • Match 6: Erangel (Group BC)

Format of Semi Finals

Semi Finals will take place from March 12th to March 15th, 2026. The 24 teams are participating in a double round-robin style, which ensures all teams get an equal opportunity to compete against all other teams.

In this case, consistency is essential. It is not just about winning one game; it is about being on top for all four days. At the end of the tournament, only the top 8 teams from the combined standings will qualify for the Grand Finals.
